Tottenham are “closely monitoring” the situation of Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake, according to Sky Sports.
Ake has already been linked with a move to Spurs by other publications this month.
And now Sky Sports claim the Londoners are keeping tabs on the former Chelsea defender, who joined Bournemouth for £20 million in the summer of 2017.
It is believed Tottenham are particularly keen on Ake because he would count towards their home-grown quota, despite having made seven appearances for the Netherlands senior national team.
The 23-year-old played in every single Premier League game for Bournemouth last season, scoring two goals.
Spurs are likely to be on the lookout for new centre-backs with Jan Vertonghen and Toby Aldwerweireld both out of contract at the end of the current campaign.
Vertonghen is expected to sign a new deal, but reports suggest Alderweireld could be sold to Barcelona or Manchester United in January.
Ake has plenty of Premier League experience and would be a fine piece of business for Spurs, depending on the price they can get him for.
