Mauricio Pochettino is keen to sell Mousa Dembele in January as he looks to freshen up the Tottenham squad, according to the Sun.

Dembele is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave for nothing if Spurs don’t sell him in the winter transfer window.

The Belgian started against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday night but appears to have lost his Premier League place to Harry Winks.

And according to the Sun, Dembele tops the list of players Pochettino wants to sell in January.

The Tottenham boss will also apparently listen to offers for Victor Wanyama and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.

Wanyama has struggled to replicate his best form since returning from a long-term knee injury, while N’Koudou hasn’t played a single minute this term after failing to seal a summer move away.

For me, Dembele should only be sold in January if Spurs have an immediate replacement lined up.

The 31-year-old is worth losing for nothing if Tottenham can’t find a suitable central midfielder to take his place.
