Other than Moussa Sissoko, substitute Harry Winks was arguably Tottenham’s most effective player against Manchester City on Monday night – and he was only on the pitch for 25 minutes.

City ran out 1-0 winners at Wembley thanks to Riyad Mahrez’s early goal, while Spurs wasted a number of opportunities to equalise.

Winks’ arrival in the 67th minute injected drive and purpose into Tottenham’s midfield, something they were lacking for much of the contest.

His individual highlights, which have been collected in the video below, make the case that the 22-year-old should be starting more regularly.
