Barcelona have entered the race to sign alleged Tottenham target Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports in Spain and France.
In recent months, Spurs have been linked with a number of potential long-term replacements for Mousa Dembele, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Dembele will be free to talk to foreign clubs in January and, as a result, Mauricio Pochettino is said to be on the lookout for a new central midfielder.
Lyon star Ndombele is chief among the names mooted to come in at Tottenham after a series of fine performances in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
But according to Catalan newspaper Sport, as relayed by French outlet RMC Sport, Barcelona are now keen to lure Ndombele to the Nou Camp.
The 21-year-old France international shone against Manchester City in the Champions League group stages earlier this season and looks readymade for the Premier League.
But if Barcelona genuinely are interested, Spurs will have a difficult time convincing Ndombele to ignore the chance to join the La Liga giants.
Tottenham have also been linked with another French midfielder in the form of PSG’s Adrien Rabiot.
Barca need a complete revamp of the squad a number of players in their 30’s. They should build round coutinho, Arthur, Malcom, Lenglet & Umiti. Busquest & Rakitic should leave in the Summer & in January Artruo, Rafinia, Denis & Gomez. Talking just January targets it should be Tanguy Ndombele with or without Rabiot, given the amount of players in the middle of the park are in their 30’s. Ferland Mendy, Milan Skiriner/Matthjis de Ligt & Benjamin Pavard. Rabiot on a pre-contract or a 10million transfer in January.
Dembele should go in January, tell Dortmund they can have Pacco & 13 million, that’s the price they are owed if he leaves before he’s due. Use Malcom on the LW Surarez CF & Messi RW. Coutinho a rotational winger. Munir a reserve winger/forward till the Summer. In the summer bring Neymar back if he pushes for the move & pays a fee towards the move, pay him back 20million a week on top of his wages until he was paid back. Bring in Joshua Kimmich & Pelcina & Pavard if he came in January could rotate at cb. Sergio Canales in the Summer. & Back up keeper
