Moussa Sissoko has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for November after a string of impressive performances for Tottenham in recent weeks.
The Frenchman has been in his best form since joining Spurs from Newcastle United in the summer 2016, changing the opinions of supporters and pundits alike with his commanding displays in central midfield.
He was particularly impressive in last month’s convincing 3-1 victory over London rivals Chelsea at Wembley, preventing the Blues from getting any sort of foothold in the game while also providing an attacking threat.
Sissoko’s competition for the November award comes in the form of Felipe Anderson, Lucas Digne, Andrew Robertson, Leroy Sane, David Silva and Raheem Sterling.
Sunday’s north London derby defeat to Arsenal may sway some voters away from picking a Tottenham player, but it’s worth noting that game was played on December 2nd, and Sissoko was excellent throughout November.
