Tottenham are interested in signing Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir, according to reports in Italy.
Fekir came close to joining Liverpool last summer but failed a medical and ended up staying at Lyon.
The 25-year-old has scored four goals and provided two assists in 12 Ligue 1 appearances so far this season.
He has fared better in the Champions League this term, scoring three goals and assisting twice in five European outings.
Spurs have been linked with Fekir in the past but Liverpool have been considered more likely to get the Frenchman since almost signing him last year.
And according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, Tottenham and Liverpool haven’t given up on the prospect of signing Fekir.
With Christian Eriksen stalling on a new contract, Spurs may decide to move for a playmaker either this month or at the end of the season.
There will be questions marks over Liverpool’s pursuit of Fekir given he failed a medial at Anfield last summer.
That said, Spurs may also be put off by those fitness issues, so Fekir could end up staying at Lyon.
