Tottenham are considering a swoop for Barcelona winger Malcom this month, according to the Daily Star.
Malcom was heavily linked with a move to Spurs last January but a deal failed to materialise and the Londoners ended up bringing in Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain instead.
A few months later, Malcom left Bordeaux for Barcelona in the summer transfer window. But things haven’t quite worked out for the Brazilian at the Nou Camp.
Malcom has made just 10 appearances across all competitions so far this season after struggling to break into the Barcelona team.
The Star claims Barcelona are willing to let him leave and Tottenham are said to be interested.
It is believed the 21-year-old was offered to Chelsea as part of a deal for Willian last week, which alerted Spurs to his availability.
Tottenham are currently two attackers short with Harry Kane set for a spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury and Son Heung-min away at the Asian Cup with South Korea.
Malcom is more of a winger than a centre-forward. Preferably, Spurs need someone who can play through the middle – cue the Malcom in the middle jokes…
