Tottenham are planning to make a signing before the end of the January transfer window, according to Football London.

The club didn’t bring in a single new player last summer, so Spurs are being linked with every footballer under the sun this month.

Malcom is one of the players Tottenham are said to hold an interest in. The Londoners were linked with a move for the Brazilian before he left Bordeaux for Barcelona last summer.

Struggling for minutes at the Nou Camp, Malcom is reportedly set for a transfer this month with Spurs and AS Roma said to be keen.

However, Football London claims Malcom is not among Tottenham’s January targets, nor is former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi, who was allegedly approached by Spurs this week.

It is likely Mauricio Pochettino and the club’s transfer committee are pursuing an attacker due to Harry Kane’s injury and Son Heung-min’s Asian Cup absence.

And Football London believes Tottenham will aim to complete a signing by the end of the month.

Whether that signing is a striker may depend on the way Spurs cope without Kane and Son in the next couple of matches.
