It wasn’t a great night for Tottenham. Mauricio Pochettino’s side were eliminated on penalties after losing 2-1 against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, waving goodbye to a place in the EFL Cup final against Manchester City.

To make matters worse, Spurs players continue to drop likes flies. Ben Davies and the returning Moussa Sissoko were both taken off with injuries, while substitute Danny Rose was also limping in the latter stages of the game.

But before the match was there a little bit of positive news for the Londoners. Harry Kane provided a promising update on Instagram as the striker continues his recover from ankle ligament damage.

The striker has been ruled out until March but reports suggest he is targeting a return in late February, which means he could be available for a run of crucial matches.

Via his Instagram story, Kane revealed he is now walking with both trainers on again instead of a foot brace on his left ankle. The post was shared by Reddit user ‘rogerwithalager’.

Tottenham fans will be hoping the update means Kane will be back sooner than expected.

  1. Even if all our first team were injured, Levy still wouldn’t sign anyone as he is so tight! lets let our season fizzle out shall we and not sign anyone like a decent striker we need! Levy is the worse chairman in the league that needs to leave so we can get a proper chairman in that is going to back our manager and at least show some kind of ambition, bottlers? nearly team? do not win anything? because Levy won’t invest thats why! #LEVYOUT

  2. Tom; you are so RIGHT spend a billion dollars on a new stadium so you can host nfl and rock concerts.Levy is only interested in the bottom line to satisfy shareholders never mind the supporters of 60 years wanting the club to have onfield success.Take a leaf out of Man City who spent money on quality players AND KEEP THEM.Spurs don’t make top 4 next season could see mass exodus which is always a concern. We have a great coach who needs club support.
