Erik Lamela has labelled Mousa Dembele the best player at Tottenham, even though the Belgian left the club last week.
Speaking to Soccer AM for their ‘Teammates 2.0’ series, Lamela was asked to name his best Spurs teammate – every single Tottenham player to take part in the series has given Dembele as their answer.
And Lamela was no different. The Argentinian said it is even easier to appreciate Dembele now he’s gone.
The midfielder was set to run his contract down this summer, so Spurs decided to strike a deal with Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F this month.
