Tottenham face Leicester City at Wembley in the Premier League this weekend, and Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

In defence, Ben Davies (groin) and Eric Dier (virus) have been ruled out so the back four effectively picks itself. Harry Winks is likely to sit in front of Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies.

Winks will make up a midfield diamond with Moussa Sissoko and Christian Eriksen. Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela will play in attacking midfield, with Lucas pushing slightly further forward to join Son Heung-min up front when needed.

Of course, there is a chance Pochettino will pick Fernando Llorente, who came on and provided the assist for Son Heung-min’s winner against Newcastle United last time out.

That said, I tend to think Pochettino will turn to Llorente if the scores are still level or Spurs are behind in the latter stages of the game. Harry Kane is set to return soon, which will drastically reduce Llorente’s chances of starting.

Here’s our predicted line-up to face Leicester – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.

  1. I agree with everything apart from the front three.
Llorente has to start with Lucas and Son playing off him. Poaching off the lay offs and knock downs.

Would like to see Janssen get a run out too. Let’s see if he can prove himself and show some fighting spirit.
