There aren’t many defenders who can pass the ball like Toby Alderweireld.
The Tottenham centre-back has an unmatched ability to ping long-range passes from one end of the pitch to the other, and they almost always find their target.
Alderweireld has played in midfield and as a right-back earlier in his career, so his passing ability is understandable but still hugely impressive.

Alderweireld is likely to leave Tottenham in the summer as a result of the £25 million release clause in his contract, and the Londoners are already being linked with a potential replacement.
