Hugo Lloris received all of the credit for saving Jamie Vardy’s penalty on Sunday, and rightly so.
The Tottenham captain kept the score at 1-0 with a fine save from Vardy’s spot-kick, which was the striker’s first touch of the game after being introduced from the bench.
Moments later, Christian Eriksen made it 2-0 and Spurs eventually won 3-1 – who knows what would have happened if Lloris hadn’t retained the hosts’ lead?
But if the video evidence below is anything to go by, perhaps Danny Rose should also receive some credit for Vardy’s miss.
