Tottenham Hotspur travel to Southampton in the Premier League this weekend aiming to consolidate third place in the table.
After a hard-fought victory against Borussia Dortmund in Germany on Tuesday night, Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.
Kieran Trippier is absent with a gluteal muscle strain, so Serge Aurier is likely to keep his place at right-back unless Pochettino opts for Kyle Walker-Peters. Danny Rose should come in for Ben Davies on the left.
The back three that impressed in Dortmund – Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen – will surely be retained.
Harry Winks is a doubt with a groin problem, so Victor Wanyama could start a second successive league game next to Moussa Sissoko in midfield. Dele Alli has returned to training but he will probably only make the bench.
Christian Eriksen should start behind a front two of Son Heung-min and Harry Kane, although Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura will be vying for starting spots.

About the stupidest headline I have read this week. Why don’t you just name the player?
I’m sure it must be in hopes that people will click on the article to see who it is — otherwise if the headline says Wanyama you won’t click on it and it won’t register as a “view” for the article.
Shame Alli is not ready, if he was, I would replace Eriksen with him. Otherwise a good lineup, but I think Pochettino will play Dier instead of Wanyama.
Nice to have Ali, Dier and Mora amongst others on the bench. Looking good. COYS
Taking everything into consideration Spurs have played every game away from home, and to be in contention for a champion league position,we all should have nothing but praise for the manager and the whole team, taking into account the injuries we have had to key players and also loose Son as well,Come on you SPURS
