Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa is a summer transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports in Italy.

Kurzawa was linked with Spurs last summer when it looked like Danny Rose was set to leave the club. Rose ended up staying at the Londoners didn’t make a single signing.

But after failing to bring in any new recruits in the last two transfer windows, Mauricio Pochettino might be keen to freshen up his squad this summer.

And according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, Kurzawa could be on Tottenham’s shortlist. The left-back is also said to be attracting interest from Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.

Kurzawa, who is out of contract at the end of next season, has made just eight appearances across all competitions this season, scoring one goal and providing eight assists.

The 26-year-old’s contract situation might mean he will be available at a cut price, and he is likely to be keen on a move with the intent to play for France more regularly – he has made 11 international appearances to date.

Spurs will probably only pursue Kurzawa if one of Rose or Ben Davies leaves, which doesn’t look likely right now – but who knows?
