Tottenham Hotspur will play Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The first leg will be played at Spurs’ new White Hart Lane-based stadium on April 9/10, which means City will be the first visitors to the ground on a European night.

It looks like Tottenham will play City three times in the space of 10 days, with a Premier League trip to the Etihad set to take place between the two legs.

If Spurs progress to the semi-finals, they will play either Juventus or Ajax.

The quarter-finals will also see Liverpool take on Porto and Manchester United take on Barcelona. If Tottenham get past City and Juventus/Ajax, they will play one of those four teams in the final.

Since the draw, Spurs fans have been reacting on Twitter.

Some see the two-legged tie against Manchester City as just about impossible to get through, while others have faith Tottenham will be able to win over two legs.

It’s true that Manchester City were perhaps the most difficult draw Spurs could have received – the Londoners are certainly unfortunate in that regard.

But a European night at the new stadium will be an incredible occasion, regardless of the result.

Here are some of the best reactions to the draw from Twitter.
