Tottenham are interested in signing Inter Milan’s Matias Vecino and Napoli’s Amadou Diawara this summer, according to reports in Italy.
Both players are central midfielders and have been linked with Spurs in the past.
Vecino was said to be a target in January and reports of Tottenham’s interest re-emerged earlier this month. The 27-year-old has scored two goals in 22 Serie A appearances so far this season, including the opener in last weekend’s Milan derby.
Diawara was mooted as a possible Spurs target in each of the last two summer transfer windows. He is still just 21 but perhaps hasn’t played as often as he’d have liked to this term, making just 13 Serie A appearances.
Italian outlet Tuttosport, as relayed by Sport Witness, claims most of Inter’s midfielders could leave the club this summer and Tottenham are now ready to spend – potentially on Vecino – after completing the construction of their new stadium.
Diawara is also apparently a target, although a move for Vecino is said to be more likely. Keep an eye out for any updates on this one.

Both will cost money, so an obvious non starter.
