Tottenham Hotspur could make a move for Sevilla winger Nolito this summer, according to Team Talk.
Nolito, who is out of contract at the end of next season, has made just six La Liga appearances so far this term because of an ankle injury.
The 32-year-old was one of Pep Guardiola’s first signings for Manchester City but lasted just one year at the Etihad.
Despite a promising start to life in the Premier League, Nolito struggled to remain consistent and eventually returned to Spain with Sevilla.
Now, Team Talk claims a surprise return to England could be on the cards for the Spaniard, who is said to be a possible target for Spurs.
The rumour is yet to be picked up by any of the major publications in Britain or Spain, so right now it is difficult to believe.
Tottenham rarely pursue players over the age of 30, and Nolito’s form and injury issues mean he isn’t the most appealing of potential signings.
We can’t see this one going any further than the rumour mill.
Shitbull.
