Mauricio Pochettino has said the Tottenham Hotspur players currently negotiating new contracts could still leave despite the club’s new stadium.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of Sunday’s trip to Liverpool in the Premier League, Pochettino hinted the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen might not be swayed by the chance to play at the impressive White Hart Lane-based arena.
Tottenham return to N17 next week with an opening fixture against Crystal Palace, but the important matter of facing Liverpool is the team’s immediate priority.
