Tottenham Hotspur celebrated moving into their new stadium with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.

It took until the 55th minute for Spurs to break the deadlock through Son Heung-min.

Christian Eriksen doubled the hosts’ advantage with 10 minutes to go.

Here’s how every Tottenham player rated on the night.

Hugo Lloris, 7 – Had almost nothing to do until it was 2-0, then made two very good saves.

Kieran Trippier, 6 – Inconsistent with his passing and deliveries but always made himself available for the ball.

Toby Alderweireld, 7 – Another solid display from the Belgian who brushed off that late own goal against Liverpool.

Jan Vertonghen, 7 – Mirrored his countryman’s performance, enjoying a comfortable night in the heart of defence.

Ben Davies, 7 – Won the ball in the build-up to the second goal and Palace had no luck down his side.

Moussa Sissoko, 6 – Sloppy in possession but won the ball back a number of times to get Spurs on the front foot.

Dele Alli, 7 – Dictated the tempo in a slightly deeper role, working some good opportunities and making incisive runs.

Danny Rose, 6 – Played as a winger again. Gave the ball away too many times but always seemed to win it back before being substituted.

Christian Eriksen, 7 – Some of his set pieces were poor but he worked hard and bagged the second goal.

Son Heung-min, 8 – Always looked like threatening and was eventually rewarded with a historic first goal at the new stadium.

Harry Kane, 7 – Perhaps should have scored but held the ball up well and made a vital surge into the box for the second goal.

Subs: Harry Winks 6, Lucas Moura N/A, Victor Wanyama N/A.
