Tottenham Hotspur face West Ham United at home in the Premier League on Saturday hoping to secure three more vital points in the fight for a top four finish.

Several players are still sidelined with injuries, and with the first leg against Ajax just around the corner Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

Ben Davies is likely to start at left-back so that Danny Rose can play in the Champions League, while Kyle Walker-Peters or Juan Foyth could come in at right-back – Pochettino seemed to suggest it will be Foyth in his press conference.

It’s crucial both Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld are available for Ajax, so one of them may be rested on Saturday. We think it will be Alderweireld, with Davinson Sanchez coming in.

In midfield, Pochettino must decide between Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama. One of them is likely to play against West Ham – probably Dier – and the other will be saved for Tuesday.

The five players ahead of the holding midfielder are unlikely to change due to a lack of other options.
