Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen has already agreed personal terms with Real Madrid ahead of a summer transfer, according to reports in Spain.
Eriksen, who is out of contract at the end of next season, has been linked with Madrid on multiple occasions in recent months.
There have been suggestions the La Liga giants are prioritising moves for Eden Hazard and Paul Pogba, but speculation about Eriksen will continue unless he signs a new long-term deal with Spurs.
And according to Spanish outlet AS, the chances of Eriksen staying at Tottenham look slim.
The Dane has apparently verbally agreed personal terms with Madrid, who are set to drastically improve the salary Eriksen currently earns.
Talks between the clubs are said to have already begun. Spurs are said to have priced Madrid out of a move last year.
But Eriksen’s contract situation could bring his price down this summer, with Madrid hoping to pay less than the £150 million fee that is being mooted.
The 27-year-old’s future may depend on whether Tottenham qualify for next season’s Champions League; two points from their final two Premier League games should ensure that’s the case.
Either Eriksen signs a new contract now or he can f… off right now to Madrid.
