Tottenham will inquire about Norwich City starlet Max Aarons if Kieran Trippier leaves the club this summer, according to Football London.
Trippier has been linked with Napoli, Juventus and Manchester United in recent weeks. In fact, Napoli are said to be considering a move for the right-back with United targeting their player, Elseid Hysaj.
As a result there could a transfer merry-go-round, which is bound to happen when Spurs and United appear to be targeting the exact same targets.
Another of those targets is thought to be Norwich’s Aarons, who lit up the Championship with his performances down the right flank last season.
Football London claims Tottenham are keen on the 19-year-old, who scored two goals and provided six assists in 41 Championship appearances last term.
Spurs will apparently contact Norwich over Aarons if Trippier is sold, but Manchester United are also said to be considering a move for the teenager if their move for Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka fails.
At this point it’s impossible to predict which right-back will end up where, but it looks like Tottenham will be more eager than ever to sell Trippier in order to start their summer business.
If trippier is sold we romote foyth to right back. He is comfortable on the ball and needs games. Go all out to get the young guy at Palace maybe try offering aurier plus cash.
Should say promote.
