Christian Eriksen has the option of joining either Manchester United or Juventus this summer after Real Madrid cooled their interest in the Tottenham star, according to the Mirror.

Eriksen recently revealed he may seek a new challenge this summer and has subsequently been strongly linked with Real Madrid.

However, Zinedine Zidane appears to be prioritising a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, which would mean Eriksen staying at Spurs or moving elsewhere.

Earlier this month we relayed reports suggesting Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy had put an £80 million price tag on Eriksen for overseas clubs and a £130m price tag for English clubs.

Apparently that hasn’t put off United, who are said to be interested in signing the Dane in the coming weeks.

The Mirror claims Spurs now value Eriksen at £100 million and that he wants to quit the Londoners even if he isn’t able to make his dream switch to Real Madrid.

It is believed Juventus and United will now scrap over the 27-year-old. Tottenham would probably prefer to sell him to Italy.

  1. No one has been a bigger fan of Eriksen over the years than myself;I can even understand he wishing a move to the biggest Club in the world that is RM.However the fact that he is contemplating moving to Juventus or Man Utd(or others) says one thing: he wants out.So Eriksen, please go as fast as possible anywhere so that we can make alternative plans; we don’t want you any longer at Tottenham; just go.
