France midfielder and reported Tottenham Hotspur target Adrien Rabiot has arrived in Turin to undergo a medical with Juventus, the Serie A champions have confirmed.

Rabiot has been linked with Spurs and plenty of other sides for some time now and has finally left Paris Saint-Germain after running down his contract with the French club.

But it appears Juventus have fought off competition to sign the 23-year-old. The Italian giants shared photos of Rabiot arriving in Turin to go through the final stages of completing his move on Sunday.

Despite Tottenham’s alleged interest in Rabiot, the move could actually be good news for Spurs.

The Londoners are reportedly closing in on a deal for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, but rumours of a late offer from Juventus have put some Tottenham fans on edge.

However, Rabiot and Ndombele play in the same position, which means there is a good chance Juventus will now turn their attentions away from central midfielders.

The Guardian claims Spurs are still Ndombele’s first-choice if he leaves Lyon, so there is little to worry about.
