Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Dutch winger Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld, according to reports in the Netherlands.

The Club Brugge star made just 12 appearances in the Belgian top flight in 2018/19, but in fairness he was injured for most of the campaign.

Groeneveld still managed to score four goals and provide three assists across those 12 games and is seen as a future regular for the Holland national team having already scored one goal in two appearances for his country.

Dutch outlet Voetbal International claims AC Milan attempted to sign the 22-year-old in the January transfer window but a deal failed to materialise, and the Italians could now face competition from Spurs.

By all accounts, Tottenham are about to sign Leeds United teenager Jack Clarke, so there will be question marks over whether they need another winger.

That said, Clarke is expected to re-join Leeds on a season-long loan, meaning Mauricio Pochettino still might want to bring in another wide attacker to strengthen his squad.

Whether Groeneveld is a viable option remains to be seen. Spurs might be put off by his injury.
