Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has arrived in London to undergo a medical with Tottenham, according to the Daily Mail.

Over the weekend news broke that Spurs had finally agreed a fee with Lyon for Ndombele. and the Mail’s report gives more details on the proposed deal.

They claim Tottenham will pay an initial fee of £56.5 million with add-ons that could take the final price up to £65 million.

It is believed Ndombele has agreed terms on a five-year contract and will undergo a medical on Tuesday.

The Mail also reveals Spurs are putting the finishing touches on Jack Clarke’s move from Leeds United.

The teenager will apparently join for £11.5 million before returning to Leeds on loan for the 2019/20 season.

Clarke’s medical was understood to have taken place on Monday, so there is a good chance Tottenham will confirm that deal before Ndombele’s arrival.

Regardless of who is announced first, Spurs are set to make their first signing since Lucas Moura joined the club from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2018.

There is sure to be plenty of excitement and a sense of relief among Tottenham fans once the deals are confirmed.
