Huddersfield Town are among a host of Championship clubs battling it out for the signature of Tottenham teenager Tashan Oakley-Boothe.
According to the Mail Online, the Terriers, along with Leeds United Derby County, Reading, Stoke City and Swansea City are all chasing a loan-deal for the 19-year-old.
Oakley-Boothe, who won the World Cup with England Under-17s back in 2017, has made just one senior appearance for Spurs – in a Carabao Cup tie against Barnsley in 2017/2018.
The midfielder was on the bench on three other occasions that campaign, but hasn’t been able to build on those experiences and the closest he got to first-team football under Mauricio Pochettino last season was the EFL Trophy.
And now Oakley-Boothe, who signed a new contract with Tottenham at the beginning of last year, is seeking a loan move to gain valuable first-team experience and Huddersfield have emerged as favourites.
