It didn’t take Harry Kane long to make his mark on 2019/2020 as the England captain scored a sensational 45-yard winner in Tottenham’s opening International Champions Cup game against Juventus.
Kane has previous against the Italian giants, having scored at Wembley in a 2-0 Spurs victory in pre-season back in 2017 before reducing the deficit in the Allianz Stadium in that famous 2-2 draw in their Champions League Last 16 tie back in February of last year.
And soon after the England captain sent the National Stadium in Singapore absolutely wild, he received a message of support from Kate, who he recently tied the knot with in a secret venue last month, showing she is clearly as big of fan as the rest of us.
Kate, or @KateKanex as she is known on Instagram, commented a ? emoji on Kane’s post, which stands for GOAT – Great of All Time.
The comment can be seen below and if you haven’t seen his extraordinary winning goal enough times, one more won’t hurt.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the Tottenham striker described the goal as one of the best of his career. Whether it is or it isn’t, he certainly had his wife’s approval.
