Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is eager to secure a deal for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, according to reports in Italy.
Dybala has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs in recent days amid suggestions Juventus are interested in Danny Rose. There is talk Tottenham could try to convince the Italian champions to reduce their £80m valuation of Dybala if a £25m deal for Rose goes through.
However, Sky Sports claims Juventus may include Dybala in a bid for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku, who is also attracting interest from Inter Milan. Juventus are apparently willing to let Dybala join United if Lukaku moves in the other direction.
If Dybala must decide between joining United and Spurs, the Londoners have the advantage of being able to offer Champions League football. What’s more, Levy appears to be keen to pay Juventus what they want.
Italian outlet Tuttosport, as relayed by Sport Witness, reports that Levy is ready to make an offer in the region of £72-81 million for Dybala, which would surely tempt them into selling the Argentinian to Tottenham.
We’ll be eagerly anticipating further updates. Dybala to Spurs would certainly be one of the stories of the summer.

Had DL went 45 million +Danny Rose then maybe juve might be interested but there is no way he will shell out that much money for one player in cash.

The fact is, we’ve already got three Argentines playing for us, plus Poch, plus Champions League football, plus the best stadium in the PL. Levy wants Dybala and I think Dybala can be persuaded to join.

There’s a deal to be done here and Levy’s the man to do it. He’s more than capable of fashioning a deal to bring Dybala to the Lane. The stadium, champions league football plus a quiet chat with Poch could swing it

He has failed in too many negotiations for players and bought average in the end because it did not cost too much!
He even cocked the stadium by trying to save money by getting the project management in house, but did not have anyone with project skills for this size or type of project! Yes spurs have a good stadium, but came in late and well over Budget!!

Some of the comments are ridiculous Levy has turned Spurs into a major force and doing it without bancruptung the club there are plenty of clubs ie Leeds Forest etc that have just spent spent and spent we are now in a strong position to attract top players having the best training facilities best ground best manager we’ve progressed steadily which has produced a strong foundation I think Levy deserves a bit more credit for what he has done rather than just cheap comments….get your check book out open your purse..Spurs are in a good place at the moment and no longer called the tea pot team because we always finished in the middle of the table I’ve been going home and away since 1971 so have seen good and the bad so let’s progress the way we are and who knows we might break our record signing again as we have recently…COYS Bob Clark
