Jack Clarke’s Leeds United side were left frustrated on Saturday as they were pegged back and had their perfect start to the campaign ended as they drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest at Elland Road.

Former Swansea City midfielder Pablo Hernandez put the Whites in front, but Lewis Grabban struck 13 minutes from time to ensure a share of the spoils.

To make matters worse, Clarke, who joined Spurs from Leeds in 1st July for around £8m, before he was loaned back out to the South Yorkshire outfit, was an unused substitute and is still waiting to make his first appearance of the campaign.

The 18-year-old didn’t feature in Leeds’ opening-day victory at Bristol City last Sunday and remained on the bench once more against Forest – with manager Marcelo Bielsa opting to make just two changes despite the 1-1 scoreline.

However, Clarke is likely to be given his first opportunity of the campaign to impress when Bielsa’s men travel to League Two side Salford United in the 1st Round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

  1. Wont get much football at all this season – 6 Loan Deals with only 5 places per LUFC Matchday Squad.

Clarke looks like he’ll be #6 unless Injuries kick in –

    01. Meslier – Reserve Goalie – Strange Signing which will cause us Loan problems.
    02. White – 1st choice #5 – Nobody else in squad.
    03. Costa – 15m man won’t do anything to reduce his valuation over the season – has to be in Squad.
    04. Harrison – seen as one of the Main LUFC players this season – Manager Favorite.
    05. Nketiah – only player we have like this – 2m Loan fee and 35k a week means he has to play.

Leaving 06. Clarke as odd man out – unless we use our other two Young Goalies as #2 in Match Day Squad’s.
