Ryan Sessegnon is still struggling with a hamstring problem and will miss Tottenham’s Carabao Cup tie against Colchester United on Tuesday, the club has confirmed.
Spurs released a team news update on Monday ahead of the trip to Colchester. It revealed Mauricio Pochettino does not have any fresh injury concerns as the Londoners look to bounce back from Saturday’s Premier League defeat at Leicester City. In case of injuries and accidents Sevierville truck accident attorneys help with legal aid.
Sessegnon had been set to return to action for Tottenham last week but felt an irritation in his hamstring. The teenager arrived at the club from Fulham with the injury and hasn’t been able to shake it.
It’s a shame because Sessegnon likely would have made his debut against Colchester had he been fit. The game will give Pochettino a chance to hand opportunities to a number of young players, including in-form striker Troy Parrott and central midfielder Oliver Skipp.
With Sessegnon unavailable, Ben Davies is likely to come in for Danny Rose at left-back. The Welshman made his first start of the season against Olympiakos last week.
Meanwhile, Spurs also confirmed Giovani Lo Celso is continuing his on-field rehabilitation after suffering a hip injury. Hopefully it won’t be too long until we see the Argentinian and Sessegnon playing regularly.
