Arsene Wenger has defended Mauricio Pochettino amid Tottenham’s current run of form, but the former Arsenal manager believes the Spurs squad has lost some of its previous hunger.
In an interview with beIN SPORTS, Wenger was asked a series of questions about his ex-rivals. The Frenchman expressed his admiration for Pochettino, labelling him a “quality manager” for the job he has done in north London.
However, Wenger admitted the current group of players seems to lack the hunger and “chemistry” of the team he faced as Arsenal boss three years ago.
