Tottenham youngster Oliver Skipp made more progress with England’s Under-21s on Tuesday night after making his competitive debut on Tuesday.
Skipp, whose only start for Spurs this season came in their miserable Carabao Cup exit at the hands of Colchester United last month, was a 74th substitute as the Young Lions continued their perfect start to qualifying with a 5-1 victory over Austria Under-21s at Stadium MK and remain on course to qualify for the 2021 tournament.
His first competitive cap came just five days after making his debut in England’s draw with Slovenia Under-21s.
Skipp, who will be hoping to make his first Tottenham appearance in the Premier League since August against Watford on Saturday, took to Instagram to celebrate his big moment.
