Tottenham’s starting line-up against Watford has been confirmed, and one of the biggest surprises is Son Heung-min having to settle for a place on the bench.
Mauricio Pochettino sometimes decides to leave the South Korean out of the XI after an international break because of the amount of travelling he does, so that’s probably why Son is among the substitutes.
Son looked sharp in the first half against Bayern Munich, making him one of Spurs’ most in-form players. Pochettino will be hoping Dele Alli and Lucas Moura can provide enough attacking threat to help Harry Kane up front.
Meanwhile, Tanguy Ndombele has been left out with Pochettino reverting to a back three of Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen. Aurier and Rose are the wing-backs, with Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko in central midfield.
As expected, Paulo Gazzaniga starts in place of the injured Hugo Lloris. Christian Eriksen is out of the squad altogether after suffering a dead leg while playing for Denmark. Check out the full XI below, and let us know your thoughts on the team in the comments section below.

Never thought we would go defensive with 3 central defenders at home to Watford.
Obviously looking for a draw which I guess is better than a loss.
Truly awful something is very wrong
