Troy Parrott has been reminding Mauricio Pochettino of his goalscoring prowess in Tottenham’s UEFA Youth League match against Red Star Belgrade this afternoon.
The 17-year-old, who has been scoring plenty for both club and country this season has helped himself to two goals in Spurs’ dominant first-half display against the Serbian outfit, in which they currently lead 3-0 at Hotspur Way.
Parrott’s first was a thunderous strike after a fine through pass from J’Neil Bennett, who opened the scoring for Spurs, whilst his second was do down to his determination – forcing a mistake from the Red Star goalkeeper before tapping into an empty net.
