Everton could be without two senior players for their Premier League game against Tottenham at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Brazilian forward Bernard, who has been in excellent form in recent weeks and scored the Blues opener in their victory over West Ham earlier this month, has already been ruled out after suffering a serious knee injury against Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend which forced him to leave the Amex Stadium on crutches.
And Everton boss Marco Silva was handed more bad news during their Carabao Cup victory over former side Watford last night after centre-back Yerry Minna hobbled out of the 4th Round tie due to pain in his knee that forced him to miss out at Brighton on Saturday and was replaced by Michael Keane four minutes before half-time.
Silva admitted after the game that Minna, who has started eight of the Blues’ ten Premier League games this term, will be assessed ahead of Sunday’s game, but didn’t rule him out.
