Harry Kane ‘could’ miss Tottenham’s Premier League trip on Sunday, according to reliable Spurs journalist Alasdair Gold.

Kane, who has an excellent record against the Blues and has scored braces in each of his last four matches against them – plus five in four at Goodison Park, trained as normal this week and there wasn’t a hint of any injury when Mauricio Pochettino spoke to the press at Hotspur Way on Friday.

But during the early hours on Sunday morning (1:03am), completely out of the blue, Gold tweeted the following about Tottenham’s 3rd all-time top goalscorer.

“Hearing that Harry Kane could miss tomorrow’s game at Everton with an injury. Obviously very much unconfirmed right now and we’ll have to wait until tomorrow afternoon but that would be a big blow for Spurs and Pochettino if it’s the case.”

Elsewhere, Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertonghen and Erik Lamela are all expected to miss the game at Goodison Park, which could open the door for 17-year-old Troy Parrott, who is yet to be named in a league matchday squad and would become Spurs’ fourth youngest in the Premier League era if he does make his debut.
