Harry Kane has recovered from a virus and travelled to Belgrade with the rest of the Tottenham squad for their Champions League tie against Red Star at the Rajko Mitic Stadium tomorrow, according to the Evening Standard.
The 26-year-old missed the 1-1 draw with Everton on Sunday through illness, but is fit and available to return for the trip to the Serbian capital and is expected to captain the side in the absence of Hugo Lloris, who remains out with a shoulder problem.
Kane scored twice in the corresponding fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium two weeks ago and has already notched 16 goals in 17 games for club and country this term.
The Standard are also reporting that Tottenham haven’t yet decided whether Heung Min Son will travel to Belgrade after the stress he suffered during the horrendous incident which left Everton midfielder Andre Gomes with a season-ending injury at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Spurs will train in Serbia tonight before Mauricio Pochettino will speak to the press and confirm his travelling party for Wednesday’s must-not-lose game against Red Star.
I will be totally shattered if we lose this one Harry & the boys will deliver I’m positive
Not only is Sonny Boy a superlative footballer he also shows himself as a caring compassionate person. I hope he can really take on board that the horrible injury to Gomes was not his fault and that these freak accidents unfortunately happen from time to time.
Massive credit to Seamus Coleman and the Everton players for their caring attitude. My fear is that Sonny will be reluctant to go in to a hard tackle in the future and his career suffers as a result. Please God this is not the case.
Yes this is a must win
Come on boys we want this one for son and the rest of the come back .
Hopefully Son will play, but if not the other lads can get result required.
