Tottenham fans have got their wish as summer signing Giovani Lo Celso has been handed his first start for the club against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League.

Lo Celso has made just five substitute appearances since joining on a season-long loan deal from La Liga outfit Real Betis on transfer deadline day, but is one of five changes that Mauricio Pochettino has made to his starting line-up from Sunday’s draw with Everton.

There are also starts for Eric Dier, Danny Rose, Heung Min Son, whilst Harry Kane captains the side on his return from illness, whilst Christian Eriksen has finally been dropped after a series of poor performances since the beginning of the season.

Tottenham starting XI: Gazzaniga, Foyth, Dier, Sanchez, Rose, Sissoko, Ndombele, Alli, Lo Celso, Son, Kane (C).

Spurs fans are clearly delighted with the team news, here are some of the best responses.
