Tottenham fans have been reacting angrily to the news that Mauricio Pochettino has been sacked after five-and-a-half-years at the club.
The Argentine was relieved of his duties at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight, leaving chairman Daniel Levy with a major decision to make ahead of Spurs’ London derby at West Ham United on Saturday lunchtime.
It’s just more than five months since Pochettino led Tottenham to the Champions League final in Madrid, but just three victories in their opening 12 Premier League games has left them 14th in the table and a massive 12 points of the top-four, whilst their early Carabao Cup embarrassment at the hands of League Two Colchester United certainly didn’t help his case to turn things around.
Given his popularity in north London, the majority of Spurs supporters are quite predictably annoyed at the decision made by Levy.
Here are some of their best responses below.
You utter, utter, UTTER imbeciles.

Very angry and disappointed levy has failed the club by failing to buy players, do not want mourinho as manager and levy should resign better still sell the club to someone willing to invest in playerd
Exactly!
Christ, they were the best comments? So inciteful and well reasoned, surely when Levy reads them he will change his mind…
Well, it was a good 5 years of being better than those Goons, I don’t want to go back to the first 22 years of my life yet.
