Tottenham just about saw off Bournemouth to secure a third successive victory in all competitions on Saturday afternoon.
Dele Alli’s double and an excellent Moussa Sissoko strike gave Spurs a 3-0 lead, but Harry Wilson’s late brace made the hosts sweat.
Here’s how every Spurs player rated on the day.
Paulo Gazzaniga, 6 – Could do little about the goals. Some decent saves.
Serge Aurier, 7 – A little clumsy when forced to defend but a decent showing going forward again.
Toby Alderweireld, 7 – A couple of excellent interceptions to thwart Bournemouth countering.
Davinson Sanchez, 6 – Mixed day for the Colombian. Fluffed a couple of clearances that put Spurs under pressure.
Jan Vertonghen, 7 – A promising display at left-back made better by a stunning last-minute tackle.
Eric Dier, 5 – Nothing alarming defensively but he continues to be too inaccurate with his passing.
Tanguy Ndombele, 6 – Some good moments. His head went down at times, particularly when he lost the ball.
Moussa Sissoko, 8 – A dominating performance, particularly when he moved inside from the right. And what a brilliant goal.
Dele Alli, 9 – Excellent in just about every way. Took his goals superbly and constantly drove at Bournemouth.
Heung-Min Son, 7 – Sloppy with his final ball but made so many good runs and finished with two assists.
Harry Kane, 6 – Pressed really well and made some good defensive contributions. His shooting let him down, though.
Substitutes
[74] Lucas Moura, N/A – Helped Spurs break out when under pressure.
[88] Giovani Lo Celso, N/A – Barely touched the ball in a late cameo.
[94] Harry Winks, N/A – Same as above.
Moussa Sissoko what a beast he just gets better and better great goal
What a load of crap. Dav was the best defender by a mile. Another who is stuck in 2016 with Jan and Toby
Agreed
