Jose Mourinho has made six changes to his starting line-up for Tottenham’s Premier League game against Wolves – reverting back to the XI that thrashed Burnley last Saturday.
A number of his fringe players failed to impress against Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek – with Ryan Sessegnon the exception, although the teenager is back on the bench and is replaced by Heung Min Son on the left, who joins Dele Alli, Lucas Moura and captain Harry Kane in attack for Spurs.
Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen were rested at the Allianz Arena, but all return in a familiar-looking back-four for Mourinho’s men, who managed to keep just their second clean sheet in the league against the Clarets last time out.
Eric Dier and Sissoko both started in Germany, but are once again called upon, despite the trip to Molineux starting a run of five Premier League matches in the space of 18 days across a busy festive period.
What do you make of the team?
Starting XI: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Sanchez Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Sissoko, Dier, Son, Alli, Lucas, Kane.
Subs: Whiteman Foyth, Skipp, Winks, Sessegnon, Lo Celso, Eriksen.
