Tottenham have recalled Jack Clarke from his loan spell at Leeds United.
According to the Athletic, the 18-year-old, who joined Spurs from Leeds in a £9m deal in the summer, has trained with his team-mates for the final time with and won’t be involved for their festive fixtures against Preston North End and Birmingham City – although he won’t be officially recalled until January.
Clarke has endured a difficult time since returning to Elland Road on a season-long loan deal – making just one substitute appearance in the Championship as a second-half substitute in the victory at Luton Town last month, with his only two starts for Leeds coming in the EFL Cup against Salford United and Stoke City all the way back in August.
The Athletic are also reporting that Clarke will return to Tottenham, but will be seeking another loan move to a Championship club in the January window.
