Tottenham are willing to sell Cameron Carter-Vickers this week for just £4 million, according to Football Insider.
Carter-Vickers looked like breaking into the first-team at various stages under Mauricio Pochettino but his stock has fallen over the last couple of years following three unsuccessful loan spells in the Championship.
The American was most recently on loan at Stoke City this season but lost his place and was sent back to Spurs, where he is not getting a look-in under Jose Mourinho.
As a result, Football Insider claims Carter-Vickers is likely to be on his way out of north London by the end of the week with Tottenham willing to accept just £4 million for the 22-year-old. Negotiations with clubs are said be ongoing.
TEAMtalk believes Fulham, Derby County, Huddersfield Town and Middlesbrough are all keen on Carter-Vickers, though the Championship quartet are said to be eager to sign him on loan.
With that in mind, Spurs may have to lower their asking price even further if they are to convince his suitors to make permanent offers. Time will tell whether that’s a realistic possibility.
Wise to sell and encourage him with other club
Still wait for Spurs get new central Defender especially striker
Stop talk and be active to get them
Good idea to let him go so he hope to get first team games
Striker first, Jose or Gaigol, spend it now Levy. No more midfielders and get Dier fitter like he was when he came here. If Mourinho wants to sit back and defend, we will lose because we are an attack minded team. If he wants to defend then sub defenders onto the pitch for midfielders.
Not bring on midfielders. I expect a drastic change in Ndombele s fitness too. Otherwise he is not worth the 56m we paid, even Aurier would make a few quid more
