Tottenham are interested in signing two Turkish goalkeepers, according to reports in Turkey.

As relayed by Turkish Football, the newspaper Milliyet claims a Spurs club official will attend the crunch Super Lig fixture between Trabzonspor and Sivasspor on Sunday. The official will apparently be keeping a close eye on Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.

Cakir, 23, has conceded 19 goals in 19 league games so far this season, keeping four clean sheets.

Meanwhile, Turkish newspaper Fanatik – again as relayed by Turkish Football – is reporting that Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayandir has also caught the eye of Spurs. The story suggests the Londoners are yet to make an offer but talks between the clubs will begin soon.

Bayandir is slightly younger than Cakir at 21 and has conceded 24 goals 21 league appearances this term, keeping five clean sheets.

Hugo Lloris has put in a series of strong performances since returning from an elbow injury in recent weeks, but a number of high profile mistakes over the last couple of years mean it makes sense that Tottenham might be looking for a long-term replacement.
