Dele Alli is still facing the possibility of a one-match suspension for the recent video he posted on Snapchat mocking coronavirus, according to the Evening Standard.

The 23-year-old midfielder was seen wearing a face mask during the Premier League winter- break with a message that read:”Corona what (sic), please listen with volume.” Alli, who was waiting in an airport on the way to Dubai, then zoomed in on an Asian man before ending the video.

Alli has since apologised, admitting that “it wasn’t funny” – and immediately took the video down. “I let myself down and the club,” he said.

The FA launched have launched an investigation and Alli has since responded to the claim.

If he is found guilty for discrimination, the England man – who was left out of the starting XI for Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Chelsea – could serve a one-match suspension, with crucial Premier League games coming up against Wolves and Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur, sandwiched between a tricky-looking trip to Burnley a week on Saturday.

It would be another major blow for Jose Mourinho, who is already struggling for numbers in the attacking department, with Heung Min Son and Harry Kane facing months out injured.
