Serge Aurier wasn’t at his best defensively for Tottenham in their 3-2 defeat to Wolves on Sunday – but it was a completely different story for the Ivory Coast defender in an attacking sense.
The 27-year-old, who returned to the starting XI after being left out against Chelsea last weekend, sent over the cross that led Tottenham’s opening goal before wonderfully curling home his first Premier League goal of the campaign to put Jose Mourinho’s side back in front moments before half-time.
It’s hard to believe it was just his second goal in all competitions this season given the quality of the finish.
