The injuries are mounting up for Jose Mourinho, who is going to be without a host of key men for Tottenham’s FA Cup fifth-round tie against Norwich City on Wednesday.

The usual suspects Moussa Sissoko, Harry Kane and Heung Min Son all remain sidelined and have been joined on the treatment table by Hugo Lloris, who missed the defeat to Wolves on Sunday with a groin injury and is still unavailable.

It means that Paulo Gazzaniga will start in goal, but we think there will be changes to the back-four, with Toby Alderweireld replacing Japhet Tanganga, who endured a difficult afternoon on Sunday.

Harry Winks could captain the side once again and partner Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele – if the Frenchman is fit enough to start – in a three-man Spurs midfield.

In attack, it’s likely to be a familiar trio of Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura, either side of Dele, who could once again occupy the number nine position.

Predicted XI: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Davies, Winks, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Lucas, Bergwijn, Alli.

  1. what is wrong with vertongen is he also injured or has he upset jose. more changes than London bus routes why .who in their right mind leaves your best defenders sitting in the bench nobody else than jose.

  2. Because Jan is finished, no pace anymore and Wolves have some of the quickest players around, so he was on the bench. Not really that hard to work out is it?

  3. Jan is falter and too slow so he needs to.move to other club
Spurs would seriously need new good defender to replace Jan
I always believe that Kane will move in summer so Jose will regret for not sign new striker which was necessary last January
