Tottenham might be struggling in the Premier League at present – but on this day seven years ago, Spurs were enjoying some more memorable times as they defeated north London rivals Arsenal 2-1 at White Hart Lane.
Two goals in as many minutes from Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon helped secure Andre Villas Boas’ Tottenham side a fourth consecutive Premier League victory at the time as they moved up to 3rd in the standings.
Unfortunately, only five wins in their final ten matches meant they were overtaken by the old enemy and ended up missing out on a place in the Champions League as they finished 5th.
You can see both of the goals followed by some amazing scenes in the short video Spurs official posted earlier.
